BNU, Sands China top up student scholarship fund

中文摘要 / Summary in Chinese

Macao bank Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU) and integrated resort operator Sands China Ltd have reaffirmed their commitments to the IFT student scholarship programme.

BNU gave IFT a cheque for MOP450,000 in July to fund student scholarships. IFT President Dr. Fanny Vong and BNU Chief Executive Officer Mr. Pedro Cardoso attended the formal presentation.

The fund was raised through the IFT Mastercard initiative. BNU and IFT jointly issue branded credit cards and a proportion of each transaction goes towards the scholarship programme.

Sands China announced in August that it would contribute MOP130,000 to the IFT scholarship fund. IFT Technical and Academic Support Division Head Antonio Chu formally received the cheque from Sands China President and Chief Operating Officer Wilfred Wong.

IFT would like to express its gratitude for the continued support of BNU, Sands China and each of the contributors to the scholarship fund and scholarship providers.
