The 2016 IFT Summer Camp drew 16 high school pupils from Hong Kong and Mainland China. The annual camp is for secondary school pupils in Form 4 or higher from outside Macao. The latest took place from 17 to 23 July.

The pupils inspected the facilities on the IFT campus and met IFT academics and undergraduates. Other activities included seminars and classes that gave the pupils a taste of student life at the Institute.

Several field trips formed part of the IFT Summer Camp, including a visit to Studio City, one of Macao’s newest integrated resorts. The pupils also visited museums and historical places, better to understand the history and culture of Macao. They went to the Grand Prix Museum, the Wine Museum, the Macau Museum, the Maritime Museum, the Taipa Houses-Museum, the Tam Kong Temple and the Chapel of St Francis Xavier.
