History
Since the establishment of the Macao Institute for Tourism Studies (IFTM) in 1995, the IFTM Educational Restaurant has served as a student training facility, especially for those pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in either Hotel Management, Tourism Event Management or Culinary Arts Management. Over the years, the restaurant has been widely praised and has received a number of accolades, recognising its quality, reliability and the efficiency of its service.
The Educational Restaurant is led by a seasoned team of professionals, with extensive knowledge of Western-style service, as well as of local and international cuisines. Its leadership has in-depth experience regarding training of students in food and beverage operations.
The public’s patronage of the Educational Restaurant is a great motivator for the Institute’s students, encouraging them to aspire to improve their skills and to advance Macao’s tourism sector, while promoting the city’s rich gastronomic culture.
