Assessment supports learning and makes both learners and educators accountable in ensuring that all programme and course objectives are achieved. Many kinds of assessment are used at UTM, such as examinations, project discussions, or presentations

As a faculty member, we are responsible of creating a consistent, valid, reliable, standardised, and Institute-wide assessment process and procedure for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting student work, performance, and achievement in each programme and course. A rubric is a guide listing specific criteria for grading or scoring academic papers, projects, or tests.
