Ideation Lab is a business incubator developed by the Macao University of Tourism.

Theoretically, we aim to build social capital at our Ideation Lab (connecting people and resources), trigger knowledge spillover (facilitating indirect learning) and stimulate entrepreneurial behaviour and innovation (one of the government’s new directions).

Practically, we aim to provide a stress-free working environment for people to think, research and develop ideas. This space aims to connect students, academic staff, alumni and external users to stimulate creativity, knowledge and resource sharing, and opportunity development.

Our scope is entrepreneurial activities and innovation in tourism and hospitality. We have a focus on the early phase of the entrepreneurial development process, and we aim to support and stimulate ideation lab users in their business opportunity development.
