IFT Student Union Organizes the second“International Night”
In order to help new and exchange students who joined IFT at the beginning of the new semester adapt to the living and learning environment of IFT, the Student Union of IFT arranges various orientation activities for them. One of the activities held on 15th March, is an event called I-Night stand for International Night which breaks the ice between the local and exchange students. I-Night was an interesting soiree gala ball, giving students a chance to experience a different type of social occasion and to achieve inter-regional and cross-cultural exchanges. During the event, game zones and performances were held in order to liven up the night and create an enjoyable atmosphere for the students and guests.
IFT always seeks mutually beneficial cooperation with well-known institutions abroad to actively promote international learning experience among faculty and students. Aside from the I-Night event, many other activities aiming to enhance the students’ lives and experiences are also held, such as O-Camp, O-Night and Challenge Day – City Tour (“O” stands for Orientation). In January 2014, the 20th Student Union inaugurated and solemnly pledges to take on the responsibilities of life enriching activities, striving for benefits for IFT students, and being the bridge between the Institute and all the students.
