Distinguished guests the President of Institute for Tourism Studies Dr. Fanny Vong,  Director of Macau Foundation Ms. Ho Kuai Leng, Functional Head (Assistance to Higher Education students) of Tertiary Education Service Office Ms. Vong Iut Peng, Director of Department of Youth of DSEJ Mr. Chan Iok Wai, the President of  General Association of Chinese Students of Macao, Mr. Ivan Leong, Vice President of  Macao New Chinese Youth Association Ms. Tam Sio Wa, and representatives from local associations and student unions of local higher education institutes to attend the Inauguration Ceremony of 21st Student Union and sub organizations of Institute for Tourism Studies.


 
During the inauguration ceremony, President of the 20th Student Union Ms. Anita Tai gave her sincere appreciation to all the committee members who gave a lot of support in the previous year. After that, with witness of the guests, lecturers and students, the committee members of the 21st Student Union and the sub organizations gave their pledge to serve the students and the Institute. President of the 21st Student Union, Mr. Joe Iuindicated his sincere appreciation to the 20th Student Union committee members and promised to build an even brighter future for IFT students.


 
Dr. Fanny Vong expressed that Student Union is the bridge between students and IFT. IFT encourage Student Union to hold more diversified events in order to help student to gain more experience besides the courses and it is useful for the future of all students.


 
Student Union of IFT has been striving for more benefits and to hold various meaningful activities for IFT students, enriching IFT students’ campus lives by offering life-enriching activities and strengthening communication between students and the Institute. There are eight sub organizations in IFT including Drama Club, Heritage Club, Mainland Student Union, Music Society, Sports Club, Wine Appreciation Club, Culinary Club and IFT Volunteer Circle.

旅業夢飛翔系列活動—聯校音樂節2014

旅遊學院學生會舉辦「旅業夢飛翔系列活動—聯校音樂節2014


為慶祝澳門特別行政區成立十五周年,旅遊學院學生會於1019日在旅遊學院大禮堂舉辦了「旅業夢飛翔系列活動—聯校音樂節2014」,活動主題為“院校共融,感受回歸喜悅;十五年華,回味箇中點滴”。

旅遊學院學生會在高等教育暨輔助辦公室及旅遊學院的支持下,舉辦了名為旅業夢飛翔的系列活動,其中聯校音樂節2014之舉辦為整個系列活動揭開序幕。是次活動吸引了澳門各大專院校參加,他們分別派出不同的組別,以聯校合作方式表演。透過是次活動,希望在慶祝澳門特別行政區成立十五週年的同時,增加大學生們對音樂的認識,為愛好音樂的同學們提供發揮音樂潛能的平台,進一步豐富學生的校園生活,並讓本澳高校學生聚首一堂,促進音樂交流,一同感受澳門回歸十五周年的喜悅。

2015 O-Camp

In order to give the freshmen a memorable experience, Student Union of Institute for Tourism Studies held a two-days and one-night O-Camp successfully at the Coloane Eagle Training. From 5th September to 6th September 2015, Almost sixty students participated and supported this camp. There are many games that was designed and organized by our members, such as ice-breaking, team working games.  Freshmen learned more about the structure and activities of Student Union, established the sincere friendship and cultivated good relations. Student Union of Institute for Tourism Studies will, as always, organize a few welcoming programs every August and September, please follow the our official website and Facebook fan page closely.

2014 City Tour

Institute for Tourism Studies ushered in a new group of international exchange students this semester. The Student Union of IFT have prepared a series of orientation activities for them. One of the activities 'City Tour' was held on 20th August. There were total of 82 international exchange students and Mainland freshmen participated in this event. At that day, members of the student union and international exchange students started from the Colina De Mong Ha, began to visit different attractions in Macao. Student Union also recommended some specialty food of Macau to them. Although the weather did not expect the ideal, we believed that the exchange students and Mainland freshmen enjoyed this day. The purpose of organizing this event is to let the exchange students and Mainland freshmen have a small relax trip before the new semester start, and hope that they can get familiar with a new living and learning environment
