Fellow Students,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is our honour to have all of you attending the Inauguration Ceremony of the 20 th Student Union and Sub-organizations of IFT. Thank you for your precious time staying with us. I am Anita, the president of 20 th Student Union.I am delighted to represent our member to have a speech.
First of all, I would like to represent Student Union to thank, our President, Dr. Fanny Vong and vice president Ms. Florence Ian, for supporting our activities and providing us resources in running the Student Union. I appreciate Mr. Antonio Chu for his kind assistance to our activities and daily operation of the Student Union, Ms Helena Ho for proving sponsor to our activities, and of course our Student Counsellors Ms. Shirley Ma and Ms. Cara, for their valuable suggestions when we face difficulties. Also I would like to thank you Ms Katsy Lam and all the member of 19 th Student Union. Thank you for all that you have given to Student Union.
In the previous year, students get closer with student union because of 19 th Student Union and all sub – organizations. All of you have held many activities, provide a chance for students to enhance their sense of belonging and have fun together. IFT Students are having greater interest in participating activities organized by us; and we are getting closer with the students. In addition, I would like to thank all sub-organizations for holding various meaningful activities for students. The successful activities and competitions held by them have also enriched our campus life and help in developing students’ interests. I am sure that these sub-organizations will continue to work closely with the Student Union to provide a wonderful campus life for our fellow schoolmates.
Being a member of Student Union is an honour, but also is a responsibility. I know that I will have many challenges, but I am confident I have the ability to take up, because of my passion and perseverance. For the coming year, I will lead our team to keep on being energetic, merge into the students and bring more innovation to enrich the campus life, solidify the strength and take care of every student service, in order to striving more benefit for the students, become an important bridge between students and IFT. The most important is being fresh and new to create the special culture of the 20th Student Union
Last but not least, I would like to thank all of you here because Student Union cannot run successfully without your unceasingly support. On behalf of the Student Union, I would like to welcome all the new members and hope that with their help, our Student Union will shine brighter than ever.
